We chose the Inn because of its age and character. We travel alot for pleasure and find "chain" hotel motels to be boring and generally the same old thing. This was a terrific Grand old Inn with all the character snd ambiance you would expect. The lobby has old world charm the elevator is from a different age (cool as heck). The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Our room was quite large w/ 2 double beds that were absolute heaven:) We had this cool old carved wood framed mirror with leaves and a labrador head centered on top a really nice piece. Breakfast was a nice small buffet french tst and bacon or hash. Tons of bagels, muffins, buscuits, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold cereal, granola it was nice and fresh. The cofee was great and we ate breakfast on the n front porch. The bar tender and waitress we very personable and helped us decide where to eat and gave great directions. Over all it was a terrific experience and we are already planning to make this an annual best friend trip.
I liked: The location was perfect, walking distance to the downtown core and other sites. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The chef at the Inn's restaurant should be complimented for the wonderfully prepared meals and the interesting menu. Our room was large and comfortable and the free wifi was a nice convenience. This historic inn retains the charm of its period with modern upgrades. We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Saratoga.
Room was spacious. Sheets were crisp and clean. Bed was comfy. Free bicycles were available. Rode it to nearby park.
Check-in and greetings felt like a production line. Impersonal. Restaurant closed at 9pm, too early for my need. Plastic cups in room made the hotel feel more like a motel. Air con was too loud.
Great value! Best deal in town for the price. Pleasantly surprised with the care of their operations. Very convenient Very nice and active restaurant and bar in first floor
For a historic hotel, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Green products and orientation. The scrambled eggs in the complementary breakfast were wonderful.
Staff is very accommodating and provide great customer service.
I would suggest hanging magnification mirrors in the bathrooms. It is difficult to lean over a counter to apply makeup.
I have traveled to Saratoga for many years and for some reason never notice d the inn. What a surprise - it is simply a charming classy place, Next time in Saratoga - it will be my choice
This is a grand and historically significant old, but fully refurbished, Inn in the heart of downtown. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There is more on-site parking available than the description would imply.
Nice Appearance Wonderful older building Friendly Staff Good Breakfast
Parking was tough with event going on. Loud music from event was distracting even on 2nd floor. Could hear all noises from the room above.
The registration staff was very helpful. The rooms were very nice, beds comfortable. I heard very good reports on the resturant but because of time constraint, I was unable to try it.
It was close to downtown. the rooms were beautifully decorated in old-style tradition. the staff was friendly and helpful.
We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
The striped wallpaper gave me vertigo!
Huge comfortable 4 post King Bed. Easy paring on site and walking distance to the entire town.
The bed - puffy and relazing and oodles of pillows. Breakfast was lovely and covered all the food groups.
Parking - I parked out on the street after arriving at 9:45 pm.
This is a quaint, boutique hotel with lots of history and character. We like it very much and it's our first choice for accommodations when we're in the area (which we are regularly). Food is wonderful.
Wish the breakfast on weekdays in the off-season included some hot food. The weekend breakfast is terrific and I missed it this time.
